Mitchell & Tyler Richmond Va. Button has a small
dent to the front. Recovered from Chesterfield,Va.

ITEM # CB29 Georgia ( Local ) Coat button with gold high-lighting. I have seen
these buttons priced from $450 to $700. This button is pushed,
on the front and has a bent shank. No ground action.

light ground action on the front. Button has the scarce backmark

ITEM # CB4 Very Rare and scarce V.M.I. coat button.This ALBERT's # SU 408 low convex button retains a fair
amount of gold. It has a backmark of ( WADHAMS WEBSTER & CO WOL) The WOL refering to
Wolcottville now (Torrington) Connecticut. W & W produced these buttons from 1838 - 1846 dating
this button to that time. Believed to most likely be the rarest of the V.M.I. buttons. This button is
defect free. The back is fairly legible but clearly a Wadhams Webster. An empty hole in most
button collections. Recovered east of Richmond,Va.
